Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Beach Wood, and while I was impressed, it's essential to weigh luxury against value. The rooms are spacious with modern furnishings-a perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring nearby beaches. You'll appreciate the high ceilings and airy vibe, which truly enhances the relaxation experience. One of the highlights was the outdoor area, which includes a heated swimming pool and sun loungers-ideal for unwinding with a good book post-yoga. The staff, always engaging and friendly, make you feel right at home; plus, the personal touch from the owner adds an extra layer of warmth to the stay. Dining at the on-site restaurant is a treat, featuring a varied menu that also attracts locals, a testament to its appeal and quality. The welcome drink was a nice gesture and set a relaxing tone for my stay. While Beach Wood offers a luxurious experience, it's worth noting its proximity to a main road, which may not suit everyone seeking complete seclusion. Ultimately, if you're willing to invest in comfort and a solid dining experience, this hotel is a treasure trove of value.
